Step 1
Hold the base of the bush next to the tip section and calculate where
to cut.
Step
5
Place the end bung in the end of the second section. A slight twist
will mark the bung ready for cutting.
Step
9
Pull the elastic back through the entire top kit until it appears from
the bush. Hold the elastic and remove threader.
Step 2
Cut finer than you need to with a hacksaw moving down at one inch
intervals until the bush is a tight fit.
Step
6
Cut the bung slightly smaller than your mark with a hacksaw or craft
knife.
Step
10
Place the end cap of the connector on first and then tie on the main
body with a double overhand loop knot.
Step 3
Remove all rough edges with a file or emery paper.
Step
7
Push the diamond eye threader through from the tip end.
Step
11
Tie the bung on at the base end forming a 12" loop. This will
help when playing larger fish.
Step 4
Push the bush on. If correct the bush should not need gluing.
Step
8
Trap around 2" of elastic in the small kink in the end of the
threader, making sure it is secure.
Step
12
Check the elastic and if necessary retie the connector until the
correct tension is achieved.
