The Drennan Distance Specialist Tench and Bream rod is designed specially for tench and bream and ideal for bolt rig, bolt rig feeder, and method feeder set ups. This 12ft 2lb test curve blank with nine SiC guides, has a forgiving semi through action, providing the perfect shock absorber.
Its reserves of power are enough to handle seriously big fish and cast the distances required to pursue specimens at distance but the tip is light and responsive so no feel is lost even when playing smaller specimens. With a suitable reel in place, the rod sits up in the hand, is perfectly balanced, and a delight to use. Features include nine SiC guides, traditional cork handle and size 16 reel seat.

Supplied with a protective fully zipped ready-rod sleeve, together with 3 velcro straps to hold the rod sections in place whilst in transit. The sleeve also has a pocket with 3 reversible wipe-clean marker cards on which to record line & rig details.
