The 13m Technium is Shimanos new entry-level 'Gen Z' pole that contiues the Technium legacy. Incorporating HPC (High Pressure Carbon), the Technium is super strong and therefore ideal for commercial fishery work. HPC also helps to minimise weight, meaning that even at full length the pole is extremely managable.

The Technium also features the GENZ Concept, a top five that will interchange with all of Shimanos GENX range of poles. With an elastic rating of 20 or Red Hydro and a rating of a number 8 through the match kit, without removing the tip section.
