| ***Vacancy***General Shop assistant vacancy Banks and Burr are celebrating 50 years in the trade this June and we are now looking for a person to join us on a flexible part-time or full time basis. Ideally suited to a semi-retired person or perhaps a young person with plenty of enthusiasm. The succesful applicant will need good all round angling ability and be able to converse with customers offering help and advice where neccessary. A good sense of humour is essential Duties will include bait preparation on a daily basis, sales, Mail order duties and replenishing stocks. If you are computer literate training on our website will also be given. Working Tuesday to Saturday from 8.30am until 5.30pm. Please note the job entails running up and down stairs so applicants would need to be physicaly fit. We would also prefer applicants to live in Rugby and be known to the existing staff if possible. This will be a temporary position starting March 1st 2012 and finishing the end of October 2012 this may be changed to permanent subject to performance and current staff situation.
